1. TRANSCODES
Video specs in transcodes:
Encoding: Quicktime MOV, ProRes 422 Proxy, same fps as the camera original.
Aspect Ratio: Preserve the aspect of the original camera footage. Do not crop or pillarbox or letterbox.
Resolution: Please use our dailies resolution calculator, linked here.
Color Space: SDR Rec. 709 color.
Audio specs in transcodes:
Sound should be synced.
The number of audio channels on the transcodes must match the number of audio channels on the source audio.
All ProRes 422 Proxy transcodes must retain original camera file names, frame rate, timecode, and reel number.
2. MULTICAM
If shooting multiple cameras, please make sure all cameras are jam synced and a common slate is recorded. All cameras must have the same timecode for grouping purposes.
3. ORGANIZATION & DELIVERY
All material (original camera footage, transcodes, production audio, script notes, etc.) should be delivered on two duplicate Mac formatted hard drives.
Include an offline color correction/Look Up Table on the hard drive.
Organize files into “parent folders” based on type (Masters, Transcodes, etc.).
Please do not use any special characters (aside from dashes and underscores) in any files or folder names.
